this is a bird's nest that i found in a windowsill, the nest was built up to the glass part of the window so i opened the window and now we have a cutaway of a nest. :)

fall is coming to virginia.
its so cool in the mornings,
and the sunsets feel different.
the leaves are changing,and some are falling.
i cant wait to see it again, but ill miss summer.
its a yearly struggle for me :)

im starting on a lot of different projects, there is a lot that i want to do and a lot that i want to learn. its hard to juggle school, volunteering, and still setting enough time aside for making things. especially with all of the extra studying i seem to be doing lately.
im working on an ipod cozy. i think i might modify this pattern from The Sometimes Crafter to fit an ipod touch... it shouldn't be hard. i had so much fun making the original pattern that i want to make some more in addition to the ipod cozies!
ill try to remember to take pictures as i go along in case anyone wants to try the modified pattern for ipods.
